Defects in materials and workmanship in a Sneaky Pete leather wallet - stitching that lets go, a magnet that fails, a card mechanism that stops working, hardware that breaks in normal use.
It lasts for as long as you own the wallet. There is no registration and no card to keep. Your order is the record.

Who it covers

The person who bought the wallet from us or from a dealer we authorized. It does not transfer if the wallet is sold or given away.
We will ask for proof of purchase - your order number is enough.

What we will do

We will repair the wallet, or replace it with the same wallet or the closest one we make. If we cannot do either, we will refund what you paid for it, before tax.
That is the only thing this warranty entitles you to, and what we owe will never be more than the price you paid for the wallet, before tax and shipping.

You pay the shipping to send the wallet to us, and the shipping to send it back. We do not charge for the repair or the replacement itself.
Send it with tracking. We cannot take responsibility for a package that never arrives.

Normal wear. Leather is meant to change - it darkens, softens, picks up scratches and takes on the shape of what you carry. That is the material doing its job, not a fault.
The natural variation in a hide: grain, colour, and small markings differ from one wallet to the next, and no two are identical.
Damage from misuse, an accident, neglect, or improper care - including water, heat, solvents, dyes and cleaners not meant for leather.
Any wallet that has been altered, or repaired by anyone other than us.
Loss, theft, or anything that happens to what you kept inside the wallet.
Wallets bought from anyone other than us or a dealer we authorized, and wallets used commercially or as rental stock.

The serviceable life of the wallet, not the lifetime of the person carrying it. A leather wallet carried every day eventually wears out, and a worn-out wallet is not a defective one.

Wait for us to confirm before you ship anything - we may be able to settle it from the photographs, and a package that arrives unannounced is a package we cannot match to anyone.
Once it reaches us we will look at it and be back to you within about five to seven business days.

Changed your mind, or ordered the wrong one? That is a return, it has its own 30-day window and its own rules, and it is a better answer than a warranty claim. See our returns and exchanges page.

Repair, replacement, or a refund of the purchase price before tax is your sole and exclusive remedy under this warranty.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the price you paid for the wallet, before tax and shipping.
Any implied warranties, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the duration of this written warranty.
Some states do not allow limits on how long an implied warranty lasts, or the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the two limits above may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
This is a limited warranty as that term is used in the federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.
